Ozone Therapy
What is Ozone Therapy?
Ozone therapy is a method in which medical ozone gas is used in the treatment of various health problems. Ozone is a gas (O₃) consisting of three oxygen atoms and is found in nature, especially in the atmosphere. In medical ozone therapy, this gas is combined with the blood in a controlled manner and administered to the body, and is used to strengthen the immune system, reduce inflammation, increase oxygen transport and provide detoxification.
Application Areas of Ozone Therapy:
1. Pain and Inflammation Treatment: Ozone therapy can be used to reduce muscle and joint pain. Ozone can be injected to relieve pain and relieve inflammation. It can also be effective in the treatment of rheumatic diseases and arthritis.
2. Immune System Support: Ozone therapy can help strengthen the immune system. Ozone plays an active role in fighting infections by stimulating the body's defense mechanisms.
3. Skin Treatments and Rejuvenation: Ozone supports skin renewal and rejuvenation by increasing the oxygenation of skin cells. Ozone therapy can also be applied to skin problems such as acne, blemishes, and scars.
4. Chronic Fatigue and Energy Increase: Ozone increases the body's oxygen carrying capacity, and ozone therapy can be effective in complaints such as chronic fatigue syndrome and fatigue.
5. Detoxification and Body Cleansing: Ozone therapy helps cleanse the body of toxins and free radicals. By supporting the detoxification process, it allows the body to renew itself.
6. Circulation and Cardiovascular Health: Ozone therapy can improve vascular health by increasing blood circulation and can help prevent cardiovascular diseases. It can also help balance blood pressure.
How is Ozone Therapy Applied?
Ozone therapy should be performed by a specialist physician. Application methods may vary according to individual needs, but the most commonly used methods are as follows:
Ozone Injections: Ozone gas is injected into a specific area. It is usually applied to joints, muscles, or nerve areas.
Major Ozone Application: First, a certain amount of blood is taken from the person. This can usually be around 100-200 ml. The blood is mixed with ozone gas. Ozone is injected into the blood with a special device. This mixture helps increase the oxygen carrying capacity of the blood. The blood mixed with ozone is given back to the body through a vein.
Ozone Gas Application: Ozone can be applied subcutaneously or intramuscularly. In addition, treatment can be done by administering ozone gas to certain areas of the body.
• Use of Ozonated Water: Ozonated water can be drunk or used on the skin for certain health problems.
• Rectal Ozone Therapy: Ozone can be administered to the body through the rectum. This method is used for detoxification and general health improvement.
Benefits of Ozone Therapy:
• Strengthens the immune system.
• Relieves pain by reducing inflammation.
• Improves skin problems and provides skin renewal.
• Increases energy levels and combats fatigue.
• Helps to remove toxins from the body.
Supports cardiovascular health.
Risks and Side Effects of Ozone Therapy:
Although ozone therapy is generally considered a safe method, some side effects may occur. These side effects are usually mild and temporary. These include:
• Mild pain or tenderness in the injection area
• Redness or swelling
• Dizziness or headache
As with any treatment method, ozone therapy should be performed by a specialist physician. Before starting treatment, you should share your entire health history and current condition with your doctor.
Conclusion:
Ozone therapy is a highly effective method in strengthening the immune system, treating pain and inflammation, improving skin problems and increasing general health. However, in order to be applied correctly and safely, it must be performed by a specialist physician. The advice and follow-up of a specialist physician is important before starting treatment.
Mesotherapy
What is Mesotherapy?
Mesotherapy is a treatment method in which special mixtures are injected into the skin using fine needles. This technique is used for various purposes, such as skin rejuvenation, cellulite treatment, and hair loss. Developed in 1952 by French doctor Michel Pistor, mesotherapy is now a very popular method in anti-aging treatments.
Areas of Application for Mesotherapy:
1. Skin Rejuvenation: Mesotherapy uses injections of nourishing substances such as vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and hyaluronic acid to renew the skin. This increases skin elasticity, reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and enhances skin radiance.
2. Hair Loss Treatment: For hair loss, mesotherapy involves injecting special substances directly into the scalp to strengthen hair follicles. This treatment can promote hair growth and help stop hair loss.
3. Cellulite Treatment: Mesotherapy is also used to reduce the appearance of cellulite. The mixtures injected into the skin promote the shrinkage of fat cells, helping to make cellulite less visible.
4. Body Contouring: Mesotherapy can be effective in reducing localized fat accumulation. The process known as lipolysis targets fat cells and provides regional slimming.
How is Mesotherapy Applied?
Mesotherapy is generally performed over several sessions. Before treatment, a customized mixture is prepared according to the individual's needs. This mixture is then injected into the skin using fine needles. A local anesthetic cream is applied before the procedure. Each session lasts about 15-30 minutes.
Benefits of Mesotherapy:
• Improves the overall appearance of the skin.
• Reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
• Prevents hair loss and helps hair grow healthier.
• Reduces cellulite and localized fat accumulation.
• Adds moisture and radiance to the skin.
Risks and Side Effects of Mesotherapy:
Mesotherapy is generally considered a safe treatment, but some side effects may occur. These are usually temporary and can include:
• Mild pain or tenderness at the injection sites
• Redness, bruising, or swelling
• Needle marks
• In rare cases, there may be a risk of infection
As with any treatment, it is important to consult with a specialist before starting mesotherapy to create a treatment plan that is suitable for your skin type.
Conclusion:
Mesotherapy is an effective and safe treatment method for skin health, hair loss, and body contouring. With the right planning and professional advice, excellent results can be achieved.
